Countdown Day 2: Straight Up Magic – MFT Stamps

Two more days until the new release! I loved coloring up these adorable unicorns in the new set called One-of-a-Kind Friend with coordinating die-namics. I added quite a few elements to this card and I’m wondering if I went overboard lol, but I think it would make a great pick-me-up for a friend’s daughter.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Using the largest die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics, die cut a panel of patterned paper from Rainbow Plaid Paper Pad. Adhere to an A2 card base.
  2. Trim some MFT Heavyweight Vellum slightly smaller than an A2 size and adhere to the card front. Add a white, twine bow.
  3. Die cut a panel of white cardstock with the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle Die-namics. Using squeezed lemonade and saltwater taffy distress paints, brayer on color randomly, mixing the colors a bit.
  4. Once the panel is dry, stencil glacier paste (a whitish glittery paste from Nuvo) through the Tiny Clouds Stencil. Adhere the panel askew with foam tape.
  5. Stamp and copic color several images from One-of-a-Kind Friend. I primary used B00, Y00, and RV00 on the unicorns. Since alcohol ink is translucent, overlapping these primary colors automatically creates a rainbow gradient which I thought was perfect for unicorns. Die cut with the coordinating dies.
  6. Stamp and trim a sentiment from the stamp set. Cut out the word ‘magic’ from Summer Splash cardstock using the In Stitches Lowercase Alphabet Die-namics.
  7. Adhere everything on the card front and embellish with iridescent sequins.

Hope you liked the card! I appreciate you stopping by and reading 🙂
