June Release! – MFT Stamps

It’s release day! What did you pick up or add to your wish list? I love hearing which stamps people love the most. Again, I’m sharing my inspiration late as I am still struggling with a stomach issue. Ugh, it sucks. But hopefully I will be ok in the next couple days. I created a fun card full of ocean critters and a cute surprise. I used Oceans of Fun with the coordinating die-namics and Mermaid for Each Other with the coordinating die-namics.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Stamp out several ocean critters from Oceans of Fun. Copic color all of them and then die cut.
  2. Stamp and copic color one mermaid from Mermaid for Each Other and die cut it out. Set all stamped and colored images aside.
  3. Using the Sand, Surf, & Sky Paper Pad, take the sand pattern and die cut a ground using the sea floor die from Under the Sea Die-namics. Also partial die cut another piece of sand patterned paper to create a “mound” to hide the mermaid behind.
  4. Use a bone folder to fold a little piece of the “mound” so you can wrap it around the patterned paper to adhere it.
  5. Ink blend the sand pieces with brown ink for a little dimension.
  6. Die cut and color several coral and sea plants from Under the Sea Die-namics.
  7. Adhere all of the critters and the mermaid to the card. Stamp several fish and the sentiment.
  8. Adhere to an A2 card base.

Hope you’ve enjoyed all of the inspiration from June’s release. Be sure to check out the MFT website or Instagram to see the amazing creations by the rest of the team. I have a reel showing off the card on my IG, if you are interested. Until next time, take care!
