For today’s spotlight, I am featuring the new Plane and Simple Die-namics. It is such a fun die set that could be used for anyone. I made a mixed media background to accompany this adorable plane.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Use the Tiny Clouds Stencil and modeling paste on watercolor paper.
- Once the paste is dry, add two shades of blue over the clouds using Lindy’s Magical powders. I used Banff Blue and T-bird Turquoise. I used a watercolor brush and randomly painted the two colors around the panel. Before the color dried, I wiped off the clouds so they appeared more white. Splatter the panel with blue and silver watercolors.
- Matte the background panel with Blue Beyond cardstock. Adhere to an A2 card base.
- Die cut and assemble the pieces from Plane and Simple Die-namics. I used Red Hot, Sno Cone, and white cardstock. I colored pieces silver using a metallic Lindy’s color and other pieces I colored with copic markers.
- Stamp a sentiment from Plane and Simple Sentiments and use the banner to die cut the sentiment out.
- Die cut two frames using Classic Rectangle Frames Die-namics and adhere heavyweight vellum behind the frame.
- Add the plane with foam tape and embellish with clear dew drops.
