Release Spotlight: Feline Fun – MFT Stamps

Welcome back to another spotlight day where the design team spotlights a handful of products from the newest release. Do you have any favorite products yet? Today, I’m sharing a card I made using the new YUZU Feline Fun stamp set and coordinating die-namics.

I just took my dog to the emergency vet the other day because I thought he had a tick stuck in his paw. I am terrified of bugs, so of course I was freaking out, and I am afraid of tick borne diseases. Yes, both of my dogs are on preventative flea and tick medicine which made me freak out even more because I thought the medicine stopped working for some reason. Turns out, the tick was a seed that Tater picked up on a walk. Phew! My husband and I felt silly, but grateful to God that it was a false alarm. Also, the vet refunded our money which I’m so happy about. Better safe than sorry. All that to say, I am dedicating this card to the wonderful people at the vet.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. On Summer Splash cardstock, repeatedly stamp several of the stamps in Feline Fun. Make sure to stamp off the edge to get that patterned paper look. Die cut the panel with the Double Stitched Rectangle STAX.
  2. Using the Watercolor Circle Stencil, stencil dark teal ink, lightening as you move to the top of the circle.
  3. Splatter the panel with water, ink, and white paint.
  4. Stamp more image from Feline Fun and copic color with a variety of markers. Die cut the images out and pop them up with foam tape.
  5. Stamp and white heat emboss a sentiment from Feline Fun and trim it into a banner, notching one end to create a flag.
  6. Add additional detail to the images with white gel pen and white enamel dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope that you check out the new release.
