Happy Birthday – MFT Stamps

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I have a really clean and simple card for you today. For the next couple days, we are spotlighting a group of products from the vault release. Today, I’m featuring the Mini Fringe Die-namics. I found a fun Youtube video from several years ago using this die: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_rcVzPKZJE. I think that is such a fun idea for packaging or to embellish a card or tag. I decided to keep it simple and use the fringe as a background behind the new sentiment die plate, Big Happy Birthday Die-namics.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. From a panel of white cardstock, die cut the Big Happy Birthday Die-namics. Trim the panel down some. Add thin strips of foam tape everywhere behind the panel and set it aside.
  2. Using the Mini Fringe Die-namics, die cut it 8 times from the following cardstock: Ripe Raspberry, Cotton Candy, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Summer Splash, Cornflower, and Grape Jelly. Fluff up the fringe a bit to separate the strands.
  3. On an A2 piece of copy paper, glue down each layer of fringe. I learned that it is easier to start at the bottom and work your way up.
  4. Adhere the Big Happy Birthday panel on top of the fringe. Trim the excess.
  5. Adhere on top of an A2 card base.
  6. Embellish the card front with a gnome and gift from the JB Happy Birthday to My Favorite Gnomie. I colored and die cut these previously when I working on a card for the July release.

Et voila! Told you it was clean and simple. Hope you enjoyed this quick and colorful card. I have one more card to share tomorrow. Enjoy your day!
