I hope everyone had a great weekend! I went to a live show of one of my favorite true crime podcasts. It was a beautiful night and fun to get out with my husband and friends. Let me know in the comments if you did anything fun.
There’s a new card kit releasing tomorrow called Something Sweet. It’s a fun card kit with dies to create cotton candy, cake pops, and more. It’s the sweetest card kit yet 😉

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Create an alcohol ink panel using pinks, purple, and silver inks. Check my Instagram for a reel of this card. I wasn’t happy to how the panel turned out so I decided to die cut from it.
- Die cut the alcohol ink panel using the Wavy Rainbow Die-namics and adhere to an A2 card base.
- Die cut three cotton candies from Sweet Summer Color Blends Paper Pad and Cotton Candy Cone Die-namics. Isn’t this paper gorgeous and dreamy?! I die cut the cones from white and the stripes from Cotton Candy and Grapesicle cardstocks.
- Add thin lines of glue on the cotton candy and add WOW Cotton Candy glitter. It is a glitter and not an embossing powder so it does not need to be heat set. Adhere the cotton candy.
- Die cut the Sweet Die-namics from glitter cardstock in my stash and two layers of white. I like layering my die cut to give it more weight and dimension.
- Stamp a partial sentiment from Something Sweet on a scrap of the color blend paper and trim it to a flag. Adhere in place.
- Embellish with a few hearts also cut from the color blend paper using the Mason Jar Die-namics.
- Inside the card, add the extra cotton candy cone and another heart. Stamp another sentiment from Something Sweet.
