The newest card kit, Something Sweet, is live in the shop! Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see great samples from the rest of the design team. Today’s card mixes the new card kit with dies from the most recent release. I love when I can mix and match my stash to create unique cards.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Using the Mini Fringe Die-namics, die cut it from white cardstock 8 times. Adhere the fringe from the bottom up on a panel of cardstock trimmed down slightly.
- Die cut the cake pops using the Sweet Sticks Die-namics and the cake layers from Interactive Birthday Cake Die-namics using the Sweet Summer Color Blends paper. All of the icing is from white cardstock and the sprinkles on top of the cake pops are also from the color blend paper and glitter cardstock in my stash.
- I added a little light pink copic marker to the white icing.
- Adhere all of the layers together and pop up the completed cake + cake pops on the card front.
- Adhere to an A2 kraft card base.
- Stamp and white heat emboss a sentiment from Something Sweet on heavyweight vellum and trim into a fishtail banner using scissors.
- Embellish with silver sequins.

I hope you’re inspired to check out the new card kit! I should take a little break from cardmaking as I have been having wrist and arm pain in my right arm. I will go to the doctor to see what they say, but I bet they give me some anti-inflammatories and call for rest. Who knows how long I will rest because I have so many crafty things I want to try next 🙂 Until next time, take care!
