Happy weekend! Do you have any plans this weekend? I will be catching up on all my craft assignments. For Countdown day 4, I have a fun layered card to share today featuring the oh so cute YUZU Darling Dragons Stamp & Die Duo and a Caribbean Sea and Moroccan Spice color combo. 2024 is the year of the dragon so this stamp set is perfect. Perfect for New Year’s card and Valentine’s Day as the dragons are so sweet. I really like how this card turned out!

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Die cut two panels of Caribbean Sea cardstock using Blueprints 25 and the Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Pop up the smaller panel with foam tape.
Die cut additional layers of cardstock using the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics from Limelight and Moroccan Spice.
Stamp and copic color several images from YUZU Darling Dragons Stamp & Die Duo. I used the following colors:
Dragon: YR02, YR04, YR07, YR09 – deepened shadows with YR27 and YR18;
Dragon belly: E31, E30, YR30
Heart: BG09, BG49, BG13
Plants: YG00, YG03, YG13, YG17
Die cut white cardstock with the Tall Tag Die-namics.
Stamp several leaves around the tag creating a DIY pattern using Caribbean Sea ink. To fill in the gaps, add dots with a BG11 marker.
Adhere all of the layers together on the card front.
Stamp a sentiment from Smooches in Caribbean Sea, and trim it into a strip.
Stamp and white heat emboss a sentiment from Smooches and die cut it with a small banner die in the Tall Tag Die-namics.
Pop up the sentiments with foam tape.
Add white twine at the top of the tag.
