Hello, Friend – MFT Stamps

Hey there! I am sharing some late night inspiration using the new card kit, Friendship & Flowers, coming to the MFT shop tomorrow, Tuesday Feb 6 at 10am ET. FedEx was so late in delivering my package so I didn’t get a chance to create until now. The new card kit looks similar to last month’s kit, but has a new stamp set with different sentiments for friendship and different masking stencils. See a preview picture below.

To create this card, I used both masking stencils to create two diagonal spaces for two sentiments. I thought it was a different way to use the stencils and I liked the way the end result looked. After taping down the two masking stencils, I ink blended each subsequent stencil with a variety of MFT inks – Boysenberry, Jalapeño Popper, Lemon Drop, Grapesicle, and Cornflower. After stenciling, I splattered the panel with white ink. I stamped two sentiments from Essential Messages in the openings in Boysenberry ink and matted the trimmed down panel with Boysenberry cardstock. Behind that, I used a piece of patterned paper from Diagonal Gingham, then added to an A2 card base. To add another detail, I die cut a flower and leaves using Bold Blooms Die-namics and Bold Greenery Die-namics. I added the flower to the card front with a white twine bow behind it.

Stop by tomorrow for release day inspiration! Goodnight 🙂
