Girls Night – MFT Stamps

Hey friends! I’m excited to share that there is a new MFT Stamps release coming next Tuesday and the countdown starts today! The design team has lots of sneaks and inspiration to share so please head over to the MFT blog and Instagram to see what everyone has made. Today’s card features a new stamp set from JB called Girls’ Night In. Just to let you know, MFT has decided to sell stamp sets and dies separately again (they were only available as a stamp set or a duo previously). I personally liked the duo a lot, but I guess many customers didn’t. Oh well! It’s always good to try new things and then pivot if something isn’t working. Let’s get to the card!

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Trim patterned paper from Orange Sherbet to an A2 size and adhere to an A2 card base.
  2. Die cut the Stitched Center Strip Cover-Up Die-namics twice from white and adhere the layers together. Pop up with foam tape on the card front.
  3. On the negative die cuts, the rectangles, ink blend Grapesicle and Cotton Candy ink in an ombre. Splatter with water and diluted white ink.
  4. Stamp several images from Girls’ Night In and copic color. I used a bunch of markers so I can’t remember them all. I stuck to the brown (E), orange (YR), and purple (BV) color families. Die cut with the coordinating die-namics.
  5. For the tent and the orange pillow, I used the paper piecing technique. I stamped the images on the respective colors/patterned paper and then fussy cut them out. Then glued them on top of a die cut image that was stamped in black. I added gray shading with cool gray markers.
  6. Adhere the images around the card front.
  7. I embellished with some music notes from a previously released stamp set, Right on Track, and some sparkling sequins.

These cute critters look like they’re having a great girls night. šŸ™‚ Stop by tomorrow for more inspiration. Thanks for reading!
