From Small Beginnings – MFT Stamps

One more day until the new release goes live! I was a little hesitant when I started making today’s inspiration. I didn’t know if the vision is my head would play out and look cohesive in the end. I think there are a couple tweaks I might make, but overall I am happy with the concept and color of my card. What do you think? I’m always trying to do new things and mix old products with new products. I get bored if I’m not experimenting 🙂

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Trim an A2 background using Limelight cardstock and adhere to an A2 card base. Splatter with white ink.
  2. Die cut the Square Grid Cover-Up Die-namics twice from white and once from Field Day cardstock. Adhere the layers together.
  3. Die cut several leaves from Complementary Greenery Die-namics using multiple colors – Orange Zest, Summer Splash, and Lemon Drop. For dimension, add ink blending to all of the leaves – on the orange leaves, ink blend Poppin’ Pink, ink blend Cornflower on the Summer Splash leaves, and ink blend Orange Zest on the yellow leaves. Splatter with white ink.
  4. Glue the leaves behind the openings in the cover up die-namics. Adhere to the card front.
  5. Stamp and copic color a few images from You Bring Sunshine. Die cut with the coordinating die-namics. Pop up with foam tape.
    Bear – E51, E53, E55, 0
    Shirt – Y15, Y19
    Pants – BG18, BG13, BG11
    Bird – YR02, YR04
    Plant – YG11, YG45, E39, E53
  6. Tear a piece of paper and use it as a mask to ink blend brown ink on the second row of green die cut squares. Add dots with copic markers. Pop up the squares with foam tape.
  7. Adhere the plant and bear with foam tape.
  8. Stamp and white heat emboss a sentiment on Summer Splash cardstock. Add a scrap strip of patterned paper beneath the sentiment strip.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card! Stop by tomorrow for one more to celebrate the new release at 10am. Have a good day!
