Today, I’m sharing a sweet card using the new Rocky the Dancin’ Yeti Dies from Spellbinders. The yeti joins the family of all the other adorable dancing critters with interactive legs that rock back and forth.

Main products:
Rocky the Dancin’ Yeti Dies
Nested Postage Labels & Tag Dies
Baubles & Festive Background Stencils – sold out
Merry & Bright Sentiment Strips Press Plate and Die Set
Lisa Horton Crafts Set of 3 Ltd Edition Metallic Ink Pads
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Die cut three panels using the largest die in the Nested Postage die set. Adhere the layers together.
- Mask off the edges of the postage die cut panel with masking tape.
- Using the Baubles & Festive stencils, stencil the baubles in green and pink. I used two shades of each color to add dimension to the ornaments. For the topper, I used the Lisa Horton copper metallic ink. Since these stencils are sold out, search your stash for another festive stencil set for an all over background.
- Wrap copper metallic twine around the panel and tape the ends to the back.
- Die cut all the pieces of the dancing yeti from white cardstock and ink blend with multiple dye inks. I added shading with inks and small details with copic markers. Adhere the pieces together.
- Add stickles to the earmuffs and winter hat. Add crystal glaze to the nose.
- Die cut another layer with the postage dies from vellum. Adhere behind the yeti.
- Using the stencil with the sweater texture pattern, ink blend vellum panel with the same copper ink.
- Hot foil the Merry & Bright Sentiment Strips Press Plate and Die. Die cut with the coordinating strip die.
- Adhere the sentiment with foam tape and add a copper twine bow underneath.
