Countdown Day 1: Quacky Birthday- MFT Stamps

One more day until the new release is live in the MFT shop! My apologies for sharing this inspiration so late. Today did not go as planned – I caught a stomach bug and was extremely ill all day. I am just now feeling a tiny bit more stable. For today’s card, I used a new stamp set illustrated by Stacey Yacula called Pond Pals and it’s coordinating die-namics. It is such a sweet stamp set.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Stamp out several images from Pond Pals in Memento Cocoa Brown ink. This ink is a great alternative to stamping in black.
  2. Color the images with a variety of copic markers and die cut them out.
  3. On a panel of white cardstock trimmed down 0.25 inches on one side, stencil some dark blue and light blue ink through Happy Hexagons Stencil.
  4. Adhere the panel and a strip of patterned paper from Rainbow Plaid Paper Pad to an A2 card base.
  5. Splatter with diluted blue ink.
  6. Adhere all of the images in place. Add white gel pen details.
  7. Stamp and die cut a sentiment strip. Adhere to the bottom.
  8. Embellish the card front with clear sequins.

I hope your shopping list for tomorrow is prepped and ready to go!
