Happy Birthday, Sunshine – MFT Stamps

Jenoblade has quickly become one of my favorite MFT illustrators, and I’m not alone! MFT decided to do a special surprise release featuring 5 new and adorable stamp sets. Be sure to check the MFT blog to see all the sets and more samples. I had so much fun coloring these images with my copic markers. I meant to take a picture of the crafter-math but I totally forgot. I used so many colors that I didn’t even record them down – sorry!

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Prep the card base – adhere patterned paper from the Falling for Houndstooth Paper Pad to an A2 card base.
  2. From kraft cardstock, die cut an arched shape using the Elegant Stitched STAX Die-namics.
  3. Using squeezed lemonade and mustard seed distress oxide inks, ink blend the sun rays with the Sunny Rays stencil on the Kraft die cut. Off set the colors slightly to get a glowing effect on the rays.
  4. Die cut yellow cardstock with the Tall Grass Die-namics and ink blend with brown and orange dye inks. Splatter the die cut with water and adhere to the arch.
  5. Splatter with white acrylic paint.
  6. Stamp and copic color images from Sunflower Gnomes. Die cut with the coordinating dies. Add detail with a white gel pen.
  7. Pop up the images with foam tape and adhere the card together, adding a white twine bow at the bottom.
  8. Stamp a sentiment and die cut it with a banner die from Blueprints 27.

I appreciate you stopping by! I’ll have another card to share tomorrow.
