Welcome back to my blog. Thanks for stopping by. For today’s spotlight, I am mixing new products with older products. I also tried a dark background which is something I do not do often.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- On Milk Chocolate cardstock trimmed to 5 x 3.75 inches, stencil Gold Rush and Slippery When Wet Lunar Paste with the Tiny Wonky Dots Stencil. Don’t cover the entire stencil, but skip around for a distressed look. The mix of golds (they are two different tones) is not very noticeable, but it is a subtle detail that adds interest to the background.
- As the panel dries, ink blend a panel with Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry, and Seedless Preserves distress oxide inks. Don’t be too precious with the blending as it won’t matter in the end. Splatter with clean water after blending.

3. Die cut the Bitty Fall Leaves Die-namics multiple times from the panel to create a bunch of leaves.
4. Stamp and copic color a bird and birdhouse from SY Peaceful Birds. Die cut with the coordinating die-namics.
5. Distress the brown panel with scissors and matte with cream cardstock. Add to a white card base.
6. Adhere the leaves and birdhouse and bird on the card front. The birdhouse and bird are popped up with foam tape.
7. On cream cardstock, stamp a sentiment from Grateful Greetings and add some ink blending to match the leaves. Add baker’s twine behind the sentiment.
8. Add some sparkle pen to the leaves for a little more pizzazz.
