Welcome back to my blog! Today is the last day of spotlights showcasing the September release. I’m featuring the In Awe of Ewe stamp set in a cute birthday card design.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Create a card panel measuring 4.75 x 4.75 inches.
- Repeatedly stamp ‘happy’ on the background using the Happy Everything stamp with Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry, Grapesicle, Grape Jelly, Summer Splash (this mixed with ink on the stamp so didn’t stamp as a true color), and Blue Yonder. I stamped some multiple times and others I did second generation stamping for a lighter color.
- Splatter the panel with diluted pink and purple inks.
- Die cut the Celebrate with Cake Die-namics from the Sweet Summer Color Blends paper pad, silver glitter cardstock and yellow cardstock. Add a little shading to the cake and the candle flames.
- Stamp and copic color a few sheep from In Awe of Ewe. Die cut with the coordinating die-namics. The sheep were colored with a variety of warm grays – W8, W6, W4, W2, and W0. Cheeks are with R20 and R21. After coloring, dot the wool with a white posca pen for that fluffy texture.
- Adhere the cake and the sheep on the card front with foam tape.
- White heat emboss a sentiment and die cut with a banner die. Die cut another banner from matching patterned paper and adhere.
- Matte the panel with a 5 x 5 inch panel of cotton candy cardstock. Adhere to a 5 inch, square card base.

I so appreciate all of the supportive comments and love on my release cards! It means a lot to me that I can help inspire other cardmakers to try new things. I’ll be back soon with a card kit and special Jenoblade release. 🙂
