Hugs & Kisses – MFT Stamps

Did you check out the newest MFT Stamps vault release yesterday? Check out the MFT Youtube channel to see a live where Libby walks through all of the products. Today, the design team is sharing additional inspiration. I decided to do a Valentine’s Day related card featuring the Full of Heart Die-namics and Heart STAX Die-namics.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Using the Full of Heart die, die cut two A2 panels of white cardstock. Trim down the sides of one white panel to about 0.25 inches.
2. Trim a panel of paper from the Sweet Summer Color Blends and adhere behind the hearts panel.
3. Add to an A2 card base.
4. Using the other white panel die cut with Full of Heart, die cut the panel again with the second to largest heart in the Heart STAX Die-namics. Use the same heart to die cut a solid heart from Cotton Candy cardstock.
5. On the Cotton Candy heart, ink blend Ripe Raspberry on one side. Adhere this behind the double die cut heart.
6. On top, ink blend light purple and pink to give a gradient. Splatter with white paint.
7. Die cut the bow from the Box of Chocolates Die-namics using Cotton Candy cardstock. Lightly ink blend a little purple ink on the bow, and adhere in place. Add glitter pen to the bow for sparkle.
8. Add foam tape behind the heart.
9. Using the banner in Blueprints 28, die cut one from patterned paper and one from Cotton Candy cardstock. Add behind the heart.
10. Stamp and white heat emboss a sentiment from Candy Jar Companions. Die cut it with the same banner die.
11. Adhere the heart and sentiment banner in place on the card front lining up the hearts on the cover plate.
