February Release! – MFT Stamps

It’s release day at MFT Stamps! After reading this, head over to the MFT blog to see everything. Also, I hope you’ve commented on the MFT blog each day for a chance to win a prize. Today, I am featuring a new YUZU stamp called You Make Moo So Happy Stamp & Die Duo. I love the cute puns in this stamp set and these cows are so super adorable!! I had a lot of fun creating this card. I really like doing designs like this where I incorporate a stamp in place of a letter in the sentiment – in this case the last ‘o’ in ‘moo’.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Die cut several hexagons using the Stitched Rounded Hexagon STAX Die-namics.
  2. Free hand a cow pattern on each hexagon by drawing blobs with a W10 marker.
  3. Add the hexagons to a panel of Sno Cone cardstock die cut with the largest die in Blueprints 25. Pop up each hexagon with foam tape and trim any excess hanging over.
  4. Stamp several images from You Make Moo So Happy and color with copic markers. Die cut with the coordinating dies and set them aside.
    Cow: E29, E39, E37, E34, E33, E31, E30
    Balloon: R39, R37, R29, R27, R24
    Fence: W4, W2, W0, 0
    Flowers: a combo of the same reds, B04, B02, B01, B000, YG17, YG03, YG00
    Cow print: W10
  5. Die cut letters using white cardstock and red glitter cardstock using the In Stitches Lowercase Alphabet Die-namics.
  6. Stamp a sentiment from the main stamp set. I colored the paper with a B01 marker first and then stamped on top.
  7. Cut the sentiment into strips, adding scrap, red patterned paper underneath.
  8. Adhere all of the elements in place with foam tape and/or liquid glue.
  9. Add faux splatter with a white posca pen and white enamel dots.

Thanks so much for being here! Stop by tomorrow for one more card design using the brand new release.
