Card Kit Release! – MFT Stamps

It’s release day! The brand new MFT Stamps card kit, Birthday Vibes, is live in the shop. Run before it sells out if you are interested! Today, I have another clean and simple card to share with you. I wanted to do something that mimicked the pop art style.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Trim a panel of white cardstock to 5×7 inches. Stencil with the Party Streamers Stencil Set with MFT Cotton Candy ink, but only use the dots stencil. You will have to mask the panel and move the stencil around to fill the whole panel because the stencil is A2 sized.
2. Trim three rectangles to about 2.25×3 inches from Limelight, Ripe Raspberry, and Lemon Drop cardstock.
3. On each rectangle, stencil the Party Streamers Stencil in matching dye inks. Use heavier and lighter pressure to get different color variations.
4. Adhere the rectangles to the background panel.
5. In the quadrant without a rectangle, stamp two sentiments from Best Day Ever.
6. Die cut the Balloon Animal Die-namics from the same colors of cardstock. Add ink blending in a darker shade on the balloons. Adhere the layering balloons with foam tape for dimension, then adhere to the card front with liquid glue.
7. Embellish with silver stars.
