Waves of Smiles – MFT Stamps

Hey friends! I hope you had a great weekend! We had absolute stellar weather this past weekend and that made me so happy. Tomorrow at 10am ET, there is an adorable Jenoblade release. Seriously, I love everything she illustrates, but these sets are SO cute. I had a hard time deciding which ones I want to make samples with! Although, I am not a swimmer, I do love the ocean and marine creatures. I wanted to be a marine biologist growing up. So I wanted to make a card with JB Ocean-Sized Hugs stamp and die-namics.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. On watercolor paper, ink blend blobs of Caribbean Sea and Summer Splash inks. Splatter with water, ink, and white ink.
  2. After the panel is dry, die cut it with the Watercolor Wash Freeform Die-namics.
  3. Ink blend the bottom right portion of the outer part with brown ink and dot it with a copic marker.
  4. Pop up the outer part with foam tape on an A2 card base. Adhere the inside piece with liquid glue.
  5. Stamp several critters from JB Ocean-Sized Hugs on white paper in a medium gray ink.
  6. Color all of the images with a wide variety of colored pencils. I used the Prisma colored pencils. Die cut with the coordinating dies.
  7. Color the white part of the die-namics with a BG copic marker to match the background. I colored the bottom part of the images towards the “sea floor” with a brown copic.
  8. Adhere all of the creatures with foam tape or liquid glue.
  9. Stamp a sentiment in Caribbean Sea and trim into a strip.
  10. Embellish the card with iridescent bubble dots.
