Happy Wednesday! I’m back with more inspiration featuring the brand new MFT Stamps card kit, Food Truck Fun. You can purchase the kit and all add-ons in one discounted caboodle too. That way you can create multiple trucks with lots of mix and match possibilities.
This time, I did not use the food truck, but some of the add-ons to create a food stand. If you’ve ever been to Portland, OR, they have a lot of food stands with amazing food. So the same footprint and concept of a food truck, but a small, permanent/semi-permanent, outdoor structure. I love how the big burger on top turned out, and who doesn’t love a good pun!

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- On an A2 card base, adhere a panel of Red Hot cardstock measuring 4×5.25 inches.
- Die cut two panels using the stitched rectangle die in Blueprints 24. Die cut one panel from white and one panel from watercolor paper.
- On the watercolor panel, ink smoosh some yellow inks. Add texture with ink splatter and water droplets. Once the panel is dry, adhere the two panels together. This helps flatten the watercolor panel that gets warped by the water.
- Die cut the pieces from the Market Stand Die-namics and Hamburgers and Hot Dogs Die-namics. I used scraps of cardstock and white cardstock to die cut the pieces. On the white, I copic colored pieces because it is much easier to color the itty bitty pieces.
- Adhere the burger stand together and add all the accessory die cut pieces to the card front.
- The sentiment and sign is from the Fair Food stamp set.
- White heat emboss the sentiment on blue cardstock and die cut with a banner die from Blueprints 31. Adhere another red banner underneath. Add to the card front.
- Embellish with sequins for a little sparkle.

Hi Tiffany, This is such a cute set! I love a good hamburger (we eat Whataburger almost once a week)! I love the font on the “Hamburgers” die cut. Whataburger used to only be in Texas, but it was bought out a few years ago and is now expanding all over the US. It is a fast food burger, but they are made at the time you place your order so everything is fresh. Their main color is bright orange! Hope you have a great week! Kim in TX

Thanks so much, Kim! I’ve never tried a Whataburger, but after making this card, I told my hubby that I was craving burgers. So he went to the store and got all the ingredients and we had homemade burgers for dinner tonight. They were sooo good! Love my sweet husband 🙂 Hope you are having a good week!

Yum! I love a good grilled burger! If we are making our own, I don’t use a bun because I put cheese, guacamole and pico de gallo on my burger! This is making me hungry!!!! 🙂
