Happy Wednesday friends! I’m excited to be guest designing for Catherine Pooler Designs for their new release called ‘This Christmas’! It is so cute and I know there is something for everyone in this release. Whether you like more classic holiday designs or fun and playful designs, this release is for you. Truly, it is one of my favorites from Catherine Pooler!

I had the chance to play with the modern Urban Holiday Bundle to create a fun mini slimline card. This bundle celebrates a Christmas in the city and sending holiday wishes both near and far. The Urban Holiday Bundle Includes:

To start, I created my card base and background. I created a card base measuring 3.5×6.5inches from aqua cardstock in my stash. On top, I layered a piece of patterned paper from the Decked Out Holiday Patterned Paper pack that I die cut with the Post This Slimline die. I splattered some white acrylic, gloss spray to look like snow and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Near or Far Sentiments stamp set. Next, I layered the Instant Happy die on top and stamped ‘happy’ from the Wrapped and Ready stamp set. Lastly, I added a strip of patterned paper at the bottom to cover up some of the white space on the Instant Happy die and add another pop to the card.

I added the adorable buggy and gifts that I copic colored on top. I love adding little details to my copic coloring and decided to add a little rust to my bug. I think it adds a little rustic charm. for the final detail, I added several sequins from the Wintergreen Sequins mix.

Hope you enjoyed this fun card and will check out the full release! Happy crafting!
