Hey crafty friends! Tiffany here with some more fun, fall inspiration for you. I made this simple, colorful card using only a few Poppystamps products. I started my card by stamping and gold heat embossing the main image from Diamond Sentiments stamp set on watercolor paper. I watercolored the image with some watercolor brush markers in my stash in an array of autumnal colors.

While my watercolored image was drying, I worked on the die cuts. I wanted to make the leaves and foliage look more lush, so I decided to use the Leafy Garden Border die. I ink blended several panels of cardstock with a variety of distress oxide inks and die cut the panels multiple times with the border die. I added splatters of leftover watercolor on the leaves for some subtle detail. Once dry, I trimmed each die cut in half and arranged it behind the focal image. After I arranged the leaves, I used Press’n Seal to pick everything up, add glue and adhered it to a piece of pattern paper from the Garden Folly paper pack.

Inside the diamond, I stamped one of the sentiments in the Diamond Sentiment stamp set in Aged Mahogany distress oxide ink. To bring in some more gold, I gold heat embossed the edges of a piece of white cardstock. I simply pressed my sticky embossing ink directly to the paper and ran it along the four sides. It was not perfect and that was ok because I wanted a distressed look to match the card. I adhered everything to an A2-sized card base, added a few fairy jewels, and that’s it! Hope you enjoyed the card and found some inspiration!
