‘m back with more inspiration to share for National Embroidery Month. Now, I am #teamsplatter all the way. I love adding ink splatter of all colors to my card projects and the artsy, mixed media look it gives. But because I am encouraging you to try new things, I decided to as well! Instead of using white acrylic paint for splatters, I used white, metallic DMC thread. It is super simple.

A reminder of this month’s Poppystamps challenge. We’re celebrating spring with a walk in the garden so we’re asking you to share our love of nature and add a butterfly or flower to your project. For some inspiration, I created a simple sympathy card that I gifted to a friend. I wanted to keep the design thoughtful and simple, but with pops of soft color.
