Holiday Forest – Poppystamps

Hi friends! I’m back with more holiday inspiration for you. I took inspiration from this week’s CAS Colours and Sketches challenge where the challenge is to use three of the challenge colors – pink, olive green, and silver. I really like this color combo and makes for a fun twist on a holiday palette!

To start, die cut an A2 panel of white cardstock with the Memory Box Starry Burst cover plate. Next, die cut several trees with the Evergreen Trio die from white cardstock and the following paper pads: Majestic Hues Glitter Pad, Festive Glitter Pad, Dashing Stripes and Dots, and Cottage Stripes and Dots pad. I doubled up several tree die cuts for extra stability. Arrange the trees on the panel using both liquid glue and foam tape to adhere the die cuts for varied dimension.

Die cut the sentiment using the Double Joy die – die cut the outline from silver glitter cardstock from the Majestic Hues Glitter Pad and the solid sentiment from a medium pink cardstock from the Berry Red Pad. Adhere the silver outline with liquid glue on top of the pink letters. Add foam tape on the back of the letters, and then adhere the silver negative pieces offset a little. Adhere the completed sentiment with liquid glue to the center of the panel.

Finish the card with Clear Fairy Drops for extra embellishments.

Hope you enjoyed the card and found some inspiration. Thank you for stopping by!
