Countdown Day 1: Fries For You – MFT Stamps

One more day until the new release is live! Today, I’m sharing a card using the new We Make A Great Combo set. I LOVE this stamp set; it is oh so adorable!!! This set is perfect for all of your Valentines to give to friends, family, or for your child’s classmates.

When I saw the fries, I knew I had to use them on a card. My husband and I love McDonald’s fries and we often buy fries for one another as a surprise to cure a bad day or just because. So this card is personal to me, but I think it can work for you as well. 🙂

  1. Stamp and copic color four images of the fries from We Make a Great Combo. Color the fries on two images and the box on the other two fries.
    • Fries: Y26, Y35, Y13
    • Box: R89, R37, R17
    • Mouth: W8, RV11
  2. Die cut the images with the fries colored with the coordinating die-namics. Fussy cut the colored boxes from the other two images. Pop up the fussy cut boxes with foam tape. I like that this gives additional interest to otherwise flat images.
  3. To one of the fries, add a little flower from Fundamental Florals Die-namics. Since this is for my husband, I wanted to make his and her fries.
  4. On an A2 card base, adhere patterned paper from Pawsome Prints on the lower portion.
  5. Die cut a panel of Chantilly Cream cardstock with the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.
  6. Matte it with another piece of yellow patterned paper from Finishes and Textiles Paper Pad cut to be slightly larger. Adhere to the card front.
  7. Die cut hearts from Blue Beyond cardstock using the Love Icons Die-namics. Add glitter brush marker to each heart and adhere.
  8. Pop up the fries with foam tape.
