Hey friends! I’m sharing two new cards using the March Stitching Die of the Month club called “Nested Layered Stitched Petal”. It is a beautiful set with lots of possibilities! My first card uses all of the pieces as intended and my second card is more simple, just using the row of 4 circles. I encourage you to think creatively about these stitching dies as they can create fun patterns or die cut shapes that you can play with.
CARD 1

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Die cut the largest, background die from Indigo cardstock.
- Die cut the middle piece from Partly Cloudy cardstock. And die cut the quartered circle shapes from the same Indigo color.
- Stitch the middle piece using variegated DMC floss number 121. I used 2 strands of floss for each. My go-to floss pack is this one sold at Spellbinders.
- For the row of stitching in the mid section on the sides, I stitched with the same DMC floss and then stitched over it with white metallic floss from the holiday bundle.
- Stitch the quartered circles with the same white metallic floss.
- After stitching, adhere the middle piece with thin foam tape for dimension.
- Die cut the sentiment using one of the Etched Sentiments from Glacier cardstock.
- Embellish with white gems from Crystal Mix Gems.

CARD 2

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- From an A2 panel of white cardstock, die cut the four circle in a row. This leaves a negative die cut pattern in the panel.
- Adhere to an A2 card base.
- Stitch each “leaf” using teal floss and glue each leaf in place in the circle. Bend the leaves a bit at the middle, add glue to just the middle crease and place.
- Die cut flowers and leaves from a variety of colors using the Be Bold Blooms.
- Hot foil the sentiment using pink satin pastel hot foil and the Mini Everyday Sentiments.
- Embellish with gems from Crystal Mix Gems.

Hope this inspired you to check out this month’s club release! I appreciate you stopping by! 🙂
Happy crafting,
Tiffany
