Day 2 of the countdown is out of this world! I have a deep fascination with space so I had to use the new Best Friends in the Galaxy stamp set. A long time ago, I practiced making galaxy backgrounds using Tombow markers, and I never used the backgrounds. It worked perfectly on this card. I watched several tutorials on Youtube, so if you are looking for this technique, try searching watercolor galaxy or galaxy background on YouTube. It definitely took some practice to get the panel to look as I envisioned.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Create a watercolor, galaxy background using Tombow markers. Scribble blue, purple, and black on watercolor paper and mix with a wet brush. This technique always looks like a hot mess until you really blend and get the black around the edges. Keep at it, let it dry, and splatter with white and/or silver watercolor before tossing the background. It will probably be beautiful!
- After the background is completely dry, die cut with the Double Stitched STAX Die-namics. Add foam tape behind the panel.
- Matte the panel with Boysenberry and Black Licorice cardstock. Adhere to an A2 card base.
- Stamp and copic color a couple images from Best Friends in the Galaxy. Die cut with the coordinating die-namics. Die cut a couple more times from black cardstock to create a study die cut.
- Adhere the images with foam tape.
- Stamp and white heat emboss a sentiment and glue below the panda.
- Embellish with clear, sparkling sequins.

This was a pretty simple card to create. I wanted to background to shine since it took a few tries to get it to look the way I wanted. Hope you enjoyed the card! As always, I appreciate you being here!
